Ticket printer table

The Ticket Printer table allows you identify and configure specific printers for purpose for printing tickets.

 

A Ticket Printer must associated with a specific Ticket Table.

 

Column

Description

General


Name

A Windows printer name. The default value is the Windows default printer.

Description

A description of the printer. By default this is the Printer name.

Table name

The Ticket Table associated with the printer.

Operation

A value that determines when to print a ticket: Inbound, Outbound or Inbound and Outbound.

Page modifications


Print mode

Default, Join, Split or Scale

Page size

Default, Letter, Ledger or Legal

Copies

In Default mode, Copies specifies the number of pages. In Join mode this is the number of copies per page.

# of Pages (Join mode)

In Join mode, this setting  specifies the number of pages.

Orientation

Default, Landscape or Portrait

Paper source


First page

The specific printer to use when printing tickets for this table. The default printer is the default Windows printer.

Other pages

If you are using a printer that can only print single copies you can set the Copies column to something other than 1 to have Dispatch automatically generate multiple copies.

Ticket format


Report folder

The location of the Ticket format file.

Report file name

The name of the Ticket format file.

PDF writer


Enabled

Write a PDF copy of any Ticket created by Print Tickets

Folder

The root folder used to store PDF files created by Print Tickets

Sub-folder items

You can choose to include the following items a sub-folder: Computer name, Printer description, Table name, Ticket date

File name format

A format string used to create the PDF file name. The default is Ticket %ld.pdf where %ld represents the Ticket Number.

Open PDF

Open the PDF file after it has been created

Email PDF

Include the PDF in any emails that are automatically sent by Print Tickets

Barcoding


Enabled

If this Printer and/or Ticket Format is used exclusively to barcoded ticket, this settings is True.

 

This option is only used when you have a specific printer and/or ticket format that is used when printing barcoded tickets.

 

If you do not have a printer and/or ticket format that you use exclusively for printing barcodes, this setting is False.
