The Group By Box allows you to organize rows in a group based on the values in one or more columns.
For example Customers grouped by City:
Or Trucks by grouped Owner and within the Owner group, grouped by Vehicle Type:
Groups are created one of two ways:
•Dragging and dropping a Column header (in the example below, the Owner column) on the Group By Box
•Selecting Group By This Field from the Column context menu
Groups can be expanded and collapsed. Expanding and collapsing of a group is accomplished by click the + and - symbols at the left of each group header. You can also expand all groups using the button and or collapse all rows with the
button. Alternatively you can use the Group By Box context menu to expand/collapse groups.

In this image, the BOLTON PAVING group is expanded.
