The development of any application is an on going process. During that process, each time an application is released with fixes, changes or new features, the build information is updated to uniquely identify the release.
Locating build information
The build information for our applications is located in the bottom left corner of the About dialog.
Deciphering build information
Using build 1.5.11.97 as an example, we can determine the following about the application:
| • | 1 is the major version number |
| • | 5 is the minor version number |
| • | 11 is the major build number |
| • | 97 is the minor build number |
