Use this dialog to connect to a Data Source that is compatible with Dispatch.

 

 

 

User ID

 

A User ID is used to give each database user a unique identity. The default User ID is dba.

 

Password

 

Every User ID has an associated password. The password for the default User ID is sql.

 

The password must be supplied for the user to be allowed to connect to the database. As you type the password, each character type is shown as an asterisk (*).

 

Data Source

 

Use the Data Source control to select a database using its ODBC Data Source Name. The default Data Source is named Dispatch1.

 

Data Sources can be configured using the ODBC Data Source Administrator.
