This is the fourth generally available Preview Release of Dispatch 1.5. Preview Release 4 includes build 1.5.4.344 of Dispatch.
Under certain conditions, if you switched from Dispatch to another application (for example if you opened Dispatch Help), when you returned to Dispatch it would take a long time for Dispatch to regain the input focus.
Some of the controls on the Load Out panel could be displayed over the drop weights grid if the panel containing the drop weights was re-sized. Now they become invisible as they are overlapped.
Fixed a problem that left the Last Item ID column of the Truck table with a possibly incorrect value if you changed the Last Order ID of the Truck using the Inspector or Grid controls on the Main Window .
Fixed a problem that made it impossible to correctly set the value of the Taxes Payable column of an Order using the Order Editor.
The Measurement Units table was not setup correctly. It should have been setup based on the based on the Measurement System that was selected from the Options Wizard. Instead it simply contained the data that was shipped with the sample database which could have caused incorrect weights to print on tickets. Each incorrect ticket had to edited to correct the values of Tare 2 and Net 2.
If the multiple clients connected to a Dispatch server made changes (insert, edit, delete) to the Shipment or Receipt Ticket tables and one or more of the clients tried to print a Shipment or Receipt Ticket, it was possible that the wrong ticket might print.
The items on the Tools menu were reorganized. The Start Synchronization item was moved from the Tools menu to the File Data Source > Tools menu.
The Environment Options item on the Tools menu was renamed Options. The term Options is used by most commercial Windows applications.
The Environment Options Wizard is now the Options Wizard.
The Environment Settings dialog is now the Options dialog.
The Back Up operation has been modified to allow you to select the destination of the back up files. The documentation for the Back Up operation has been updated to reflect this change.
Added controls that allow you to select the Taxes Payable for an Order using the Inspector and Grid controls on the Main Window.
Dispatch now prompts you to back up the current Data Source when you disconnect from it (this includes when Dispatch closes).
