Many changes and additions where made to the on-line help.
Changed the initial pixel size of the Scale Display control from 1 to 2. This stops the toolbars from being repainted when the default Scale Definition (which has a pixel size of 2) is loaded.
The term 'Serial Port' has been replaced by 'Communications Port'. This terminology is consistent with the term Microsoft has used starting with Windows 95 to describe what in the days of DOS where simply known as serial or COM ports. This change also reflects the fact that traditional serial ports may in reality be USB to serial or Ethernet to serial converters that masquerade as serial ports.
Changed the error messages that are shown in the Scale Display. If the communication port for the current Scale Definition is open and no data is being received, the Scale Display control will contain 'No data'. If the communication port for the current Scale Definition is not open, the Scale Display control will contain 'No port'.
