This is the second generally available Preview Release of Dispatch 1.5. Preview Release 2 includes build 1.5.4.259 of Dispatch.
Fixed an error that made it impossible to print a ticket for a Material that did not exist on and Order. An error reported that the Zone ID column did not exist. A work around was to add the Material to the Order using the Order Editor prior to printing a ticket.
Fixed a problem the made it impossible to use the Inspector view to edit the Truck table when Dispatch started. A work around was to refresh the table prior to trying to edit a Truck.
Fixed the tab order of the controls in the Material Editor.
Fixed a problem in the Scale Definitions Editor that made it impossible to save the Data bits property as any value other than the default for the Scale type that you selected.
Fixed the Save Changes dialog for the Edit User Properties dialog. Prior to this release it displayed no meaningful information to the user.
Fixed a problem that occurred after using all table editors with the exception of the Order Editor. If an editor was used to add a new row to a table the row ID did not appear in the drop down list for the combo box associated with the table. For example, if you opened the Truck Editor, added a new Truck and closed Truck Editor the new Truck ID did not appear in the drop down list. The same problem would occur if you edited the ID column. A work around was to Refresh the table after the editor was closed (press F5, click the Refresh toolbar button or click Table > Refresh).
Fixed a problem that left the Last Item ID column of the Truck table with a possibly incorrect value if you changed the Last Order ID of the Truck using the Inspector or Grid controls on the Main Window .

Fixed a problem that occurred after using all table editors with the exception of the Order Editor. If you created a new row you where prompted to saves changes as soon as you click the New toolbar button (or pressed Ctrl+S or click Table > New). A work around was to click Cancel and continue adding the new row. This problem only exists in release 1.5.4.232.
Fixed a problem that would leave a table in Edit or Insert mode when the input focus moved from the Inspector, Grid or Weighed In Grid on the Main Window to any other control. Any changes are now cancel automatically.
Fixed a problem that affected the Material, Vehicle Type and Zone editors: when a new row was added the input focus did not change the first control on the editor.
Fixed the handling of the Province/State and Postal/Zip Code captions that appear on grid controls which contain data for the Company Information and Customer tables.
Fixed the layout of the menu on the Scale Definition Editor.
Changed the Truck Editor's Expiry Date control from a text edit control to a date picker control.
Changed Material Editor to use lookup grids when selecting Ticket, Invoice and Cost units from the Grid view.
Changed Vehicle Type Editor to use lookup grids when selecting Charge and Pay units from the Grid view.
Changed Zone Type Editor to use lookup grids when selecting Charge and Pay units from the Grid view.
Changed layout of the Truck Editor to emphasize that a Badge ID is not required unless you are using an Unattended Weighing System.
Leading and trailing spaces are now automatically removed from all column values prior to a row being added or updated. For example, if the value (ignore the single quotes) ' RZ2 472 ' is input as a Truck ID, the leading and trailing spaces are now automatically removed so that the value becomes 'RZ2 472'.
For the Company table, when rows are updated, the Province/State and Postal/Zip Code values are automatically converted to upper case. Prior to this, the values where only converted to upper case when a row was inserted.
For the Customer table, when rows are updated, the Province/State and Postal/Zip Code values are automatically converted to upper case. Prior to this, the values where only converted to upper case when a row was inserted.
For the Order table, when rows are added or updated, the value of the Reference column is automatically converted to upper case.
For the Order table, when rows are added or updated, the value of the Purchase Order column is automatically converted to upper case.
For the Shipment Ticket table, when rows are added updated, the value of the Purchase Order column is automatically converted to upper case.
For the Shipment Ticket table, it is now possible to update the Ticket Number column.
For the Zone table, when rows are updated, the value of the Charge Code and Pay Code columns are automatically converted to upper case.
The Inspector and Grid views on the Main Window now contain combo boxes for selecting Province/State abbreviations when the Customer or Company Information tables are selected.
The current scale connection is disabled when the Scale Definition Editor is opened and re-enabled when it closes.
Prior to this release, if the current Scale Definition had the Port did not have the Port.
Added SeaIO32.dll to the setup file. This eliminates the error that occurred when Dispatch could not find the aforementioned Dynamic Link Library file but does not add full support for SeaLevel I/O products. Full support for SeaLevel I/O is only required when using the Silo Load Out component of Dispatch.
Added SQL statements to setup that allow database users to be added, edited and deleted. These files where missing from the previous setup file.
Added a toolbar button to the Environment Options dialog that allows you to run the Environment Options Wizard. Prior to this release, the Wizard only ran the first time you started Dispatch. Use the following button to access the Wizard:

Added controls to the Main Window's Inspector control and the Order Editor's Order View inspector control that allow you to modify the Print Daily Totals and Print Order Totals column values. A work around was to use the Main Window Grid control or the Order Editor's Grid control to modify the columns values.
