Allowed, Over and Under weights

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The Allowed amount is determined by comparing a Trucks Registered Gross Weight and Allowable Gross Weight. The Allowed amount is the lesser of the two.

Over and Under amounts are the the difference between the current scale weight and the Allowed amount for the current Truck. The value is calculated by subtracting the Allowed amount from the current scale weight.

Over weight

If the current scale weight is over (above) the Allowed amount, the Over/Under amount will be a positive number (41400 - 35000 = +6400) that will be displayed in red. If you try to complete a transaction while an overload condition exists, a warning or error message will be displayed.
