Under Windows 95/98/Me, Dispatch printed tickets on Windows' built-in Custom (user-defined) paper. The Custom paper type existed for every printer and was used when you needed to print to a paper type other than one that was pre-defined by Windows.
In Windows NT/2000/XP, the built-in Custom page does not exist. In order to get Dispatch to print tickets on something other than one of the pre-defined Windows forms, you must create a new form (which you can call Custom) to take it's place. |
Click Start > Printers
and Faxes to
open
the Printers folder. Select File
> Server Properties to open the Printer Server Properties dialog.
To create a new form, follow these steps:
Click the Create an new form checkbox
At the Form name prompt type Custom
Make sure the English radio button is selected
At the Width prompt type 8.5
At the Length prompt type 5.5
The dialog should now look similar to the example below.

Click the Save Form button to save the form. Click the OK button to close the dialog.
