Material table

The Material table allows you to identify one or more materials or products that you buy or sell over your scale.

 

A column name shown in red indicates that a value is required for that column.

Description

Material ID

A unique sequence of letters and/or numbers that will be used to identify the Material.

 

Description

A description of the material or product.

 

Source

A sequence of letters and/or number that will be used to identify the source of a material or product.

 

Unit Price

The price of one standard unit of the material or product. For example, if a material is normal sold by the tonne, the unit price should be for one tonne of material.

 

Additional Fee

An fixed amount (flat rate) that will be added to a the sellling price of a material or product. For example, if you charge $ 10.00 to weigh vehicles, set the Unit Price to $0.00 and the Additional Fee to $10.00.

 

Cost Code

A cross-refernce the mmaterial or product to a external job cost or accounting system.
