Contract Editor, Truck Editor and Weigh
It is now possible to leave the Contract Editor, Truck Editor
and Weigh windows open. These windows are now kept up to date with
one and other.
For example, if the the Weigh window is open when you use the
Truck Editor to add a record, the truck number appears in the
drop-down list box on the Weigh window. You no longer have to close
and re-open the Weigh window in order for the truck number to
appear.
Contract Editor
After you add a record, that record becomes the current record
after the records are sorted. If you change a record and save it,
the record remains the current record. This applies to Contracts and
Items.
When you add a Contract you no longer have to select it in the
list box before adding the Items.
The Item totals are now displayed on the Contract Editor.
The Description prompt has been changed from a single line edit
box to a multi line edit box. More than one line may be entered by
using Ctrl+Enter move the cursor to a new line.
The label for the prompt 'Internal #' has been changed to 'Our
job #'.
A Print dialog has been added to allow you to print to
something other than the default printer.
A button has been added that allows you to switch from the
Contract Editor to the Weigh window.
Truck Editor

Ticket Editor
A Print dialog has been added to allow you to print to

Weigh
Tickets no longer have to print to the Windows default printer.

The Shipment and Receipt tickets have been redesigned to
include information omitted from the original ticket. In addition,
up to three lines from the Contract description will print on the
ticket.
The label 'Placed at' has been changed to 'Ship to' or
'Received from' depending on whether the selected Item is a shipment
or receipt.
You can enable the Tare prompt by double clicking it with the
left mouse button.
Buttons have been added that allow you to switch from the Weigh
window to the Truck and Contract editors.
Reports
A Print dialog has been added to allow you to print to
something other than the default printer.
The 'Save As...' button allows you to save report data to an
external file. While many formats are listed, the only formats
supported are Text, PSR and HTML. This is a bug in the component
used to create the reports. When it has been fixed we will notify
all users.
Settings
A tab entitled 'Scale' has been added to the Settings dialog.
It is now possible to specify the serial port and the serial port
settings for the scale.
A tab entitled 'Contract Editor' has been added. This tab
contains settings that affect the operation of the Contract Editor.
A tab entitled 'Weigh' has been added. This tab contains
settings that affect the operation of the Weigh window.

Contract Editor
Bar codes were always printed even when 'Print bar codes' was
not checked.
Status: fixed
If you set a ticket number for an item it was not possible to
clear it. After clearing it and saving the record the ticket number
was set to 0.

Truck Editor
Records were not sorted. Records are now sorted by Truck ID.

Weigh
If clicked 'Tare In', the Net weight display was not updated to
reflect the new tare weight of the vehicle. For example, if the
'Scale' weight is 10000 and the old tare 9500 the 'Net' weight
displayed is 500. If you clicked 'Tare In', 'Net' would remain 500
instead of changing to 0.
Status: fixed
Daily totals for Receipt tickets would reset at the wrong time.
This was caused be a missing line in a database trigger. In order to
correct the problem you must run db_rev8.bat.
Status: fixed
Bar codes on tickets appear as text not bar codes because the 3
of 9 bar code font was registered incorrectly.

Reports
When the reports 'Truck Summary' and 'Truck Summary with Ticket
List' where selected a dialog box appear requesting you to select a
data source.
Status: fixed
The 'Truck Summary with Ticket List' report included all
tickets from the selected table even if you specified a Contract,
Item, Truck etc.
Status: fixed
If you selected the 'Truck Summary with Ticket List' report the
mouse changed to an hour glass and the buttons became disabled until
you scrolled to the last page of the report.

Settings
It was not always possible to edit the default ticket numbers.
Often they did not appear at all.
